Royal Caribbean, Quantum of the Seas, Cabin 11530

Our last cruise for the Australian 23/24 season was in March 2024. We booked the cruise last April, 11 months before the cruise, as it was on special. We booked a guaranteed balcony, and about four weeks before the cruise we were allocated obstructed view balcony cabin 6192. However, our cabin was upgraded a few days before cruise to non obstructed balcony cabin 11530. We were very pleased about that. We didn't pay for any upgrade, and we were happy with what we got either way. We met our cabin steward and while we went to the Sail Away Party our cabin steward made up the third bed - see above. Not a lot of room with the lounge made up as a double, and we have never had that before, so we requested it be changed to a single. A lot more room in the cabin that way.

Everything else was like any other Quantum cabin. The app will show you the muster station, as will the signage on the back of the door.
The app is your friend 😀.

The balcony was a good size, had smaller and had larger. Was lovely to sit out there and read or just watch the ocean.
The view to the aft - back - from the balcony.
The view to the front.
We think any cabin on a cruise ship is a good cabin, especially a balcony. There was no noise from the Adventure Ocean during the day or night in the cabin. Sometimes a banging could be heard while walking in the hallway in the early afternoon. Great cabin.
On this cruise we reached our 140 nights total cruising with Royal and we were awarded this crystal block.
