Festivals Around Australia

A work in progress - as we have travelled around, we have found many festivals. We will be listing them here in chronological order rather than location.

JANUARY
8th - Parkes NSW - Elvis Festival. Everything Elvis. Really, EVERYTHING Elvis! Starts on Elvis's birthday and lasts 5-6 days. Free and paid concerts, markets, vintage cars, clothing etc.
Third weekend - Guyra NSW - Lamb and Potatoe Festival. 10 days of markets and special events.
Third weekend - Tamworth NSW - Country Music Festival. 10 days of music, music, music - many free. A variety of activities and a great fun.

FEBRUARY

MARCH

APRIL
Second or Third weekend - Julia Creek QLD - Dirt 'n Dust Festival
Last weekend - Winton QLD - Way Out West Festival. Four days of country music.
MAY

JUNE

JULY
Early July - Birdsville QLD - Big Red Bash. Country music and camping.
First weekend - Stanthorpe QLD - Snowflakes in Stanthorpe Festival.
Third weekend - Warwick QLD - Jumpers and Jazz Festival. 10 days of yarn bombing, jazz, vintage cars, bonfires, and food.

AUGUST
Second weekend - Cardwell QLD - UFO Festival.
Second weekend - Mt Isa QLD - Mount Isa Mines Rodeo. Rodeo and concerts. 4 days of events.

SEPTEMBER
Last Saturday - Woolgoolga NSW - Curryfest. Food, culture and dance.
