Hebel, Queensland.

Hebel is a small village 4 kms from the N.S.W. border.
It is in the Balonne Shire and situated on the Castlereagh Highway.  There are a few houses and caravan park of sorts. The only establishments for tourists are the general store and the pub, which was supposedly a gathering place for the remaining members of Ned Kelly's gang after Glenrowan.

One of the new tourist information attractions was near the general store and tells the history of the area via information boards placed in a circle next to poles. Well worth stopping to read.
