Our first Carnival Cruise, and we were pleasantly surprised. We booked a window cabin on Deck 1. We were concerned about the size of the window, but we had no need to be, it was big. We would definitely book deck one again.
The cabin was a good size, the same as one would get on Royal Caribbean. The bed was firm but comfortable, with plenty of room to move around the bed.One side of the bed had USB plugs, although only one of them seemed to work, it was handy for charging the phone at night.
This cruise was only two of us, but there was plenty of room for Jonnie on the lounge bed. We put the cases under the bed. Lovely hot water in the shower with great water pressure.
The fridge was cold, and there was plenty of deck space. The TV had many channels, but surprisingly not a sports channel. There were 4 movie channels, but no TV guide to say when the movies started. The only Australian news channel was Sky News.We had the room serviced once a day, in the morning. We would go to breakfast and when we returned the bed was made and everything was tidy. We didn't often see our room attendant after the first couple of days. Most days we had a different towel animal. Our first Carnival Cruise and happy to do another one.
