Train and first night in Vancouver

After staying in Seattle for one night after the cruise, we took the Seattle Shuttle bus to King Street Station for the Amtrak Cascade Coastal train to Vancouver. Check-in and security went smoothly.
The train was comfortable and the view wonderful.

The train moved slowly enough for the scenery to pass and for us to take photos.

We arrived at Vancouver Pacific Central Station about 11 am and took a taxi to our hotel.
Cost was $12.
We spent this first night at The Blue Horizon.
We had asked for a room on a high floor, but sadly got floor 3.
The room was spacious, and we really liked the kettle - so over making tea in a coffee machine.

 View from our room :(
 The foyer.
 In the lift :)

We wander for distraction, but we travel for fulfillment.
