Voyager of the Seas - Balcony Cabin 8544

We booked a guaranteed cabin 4 weeks before the cruise in December, and were allocated this cabin about 10 days before the cruise. We were surprised with the size of the balcony - bigger than usual for a regular balcony.

The larger balcony also meant the lounge area was a little smaller, and the lounge would not be the third bed. We have sailed on Voyager before, so knew what to expect with the third bed.

The pull down bed above the big bed was great. Yes, there is little head room under the bed, but I could still sit up in bed, Peter couldn't. We liked it because we could utilize the lounge area day and night.

The cabin had plenty of storage in the main area and .....

 and in the wardrobe.

The bathroom was the usual with a proper shower screen.

The room was very quiet, despite being close to the lifts and stairs. In fact being that close was good. We were also able to view the Royal Promenade parades and events from just out side our door.

The muster station was D, which is located deck 4 port side - outside Giovanni's Table.

Great cabin. Everything worked as it should.
