P&O Pacific Encounter - Cabin 11745

P&O Pacific Encounter Balcony Cabin 11745
We usually book last minute and guaranteed, as it is cheaper. That usually means we have no choice of cabin, only cabin type - in this case a balcony. We were very happy with cabin, mainly due to the balcony and balcony view.
As a cabin for three it was a little cramped but the larger size of the balcony made up for that. Only one inside chair, so sitting on the bed was 'thing' and only two balcony chairs when 3 or even 4 could easily fit with still extra room.
Fridge was super cold. We had trouble with the hot water on day 3, reported it to the cabin steward as we went to breakfast and it was fixed before lunch. Air-con worked fine.
We loved the bigger balcony. Being towards the back of the ship, it wasn't to far to the stairs and lifts.
The different angle of the balcony also meant that we were protected from wind and wind gusts - bonus.

Jon used our magnetic hat hooks to display his Union Jack flag for the Kings Coronation.

Vibrations were noticeable the first few days, but not after that. I think we just got use to them as it was noticeable when the cabin was still 😊. We usually get cabins at the front of the ship and don't mind the rocking in rough seas, but it did seem a lot more rocky at the back.
Cabin can accommodate up to 4 people.
