Left home mid morning and had a good trip down. Took over 5 hours, but we had a few stops on the way. We stopped for petrol at Halfway Creek (half way between Grafton and Coffs Harbour) at a Shell Service Centre called The Creek. It has free camping at the back for one night. We are so going to use that on our trips - it will be a good first or last stop.
The Bellingen Riverside Caravan Park is small, but really well set out. It has a great camp kitchen with everything - right down to plates - a pool; boat ramp; playground; and it is right on the river.
